eBay hacked, the passwords of users were compromised. Hackers broke into the database one of the largest online sites for buying and selling goods eBay. In the wrong hands could get encrypted passwords and other personal data, according to the official report of eBay.
eBay urging all of its members to change their passwords. In a posting on the company’s website, eBay said a cyber-attack“compromised a database containing encrypted passwords and other non-financial data.”
The database, which the hacking occurred in late February-early March, were usernames eBay, encrypted passwords, email addresses, physical addresses, phone numbers and dates of birth.
